Thank you for your questions, they are good ones. Anyway, no Mathias would not be shortened, ever. We would be willing to call Theodore Teddy while he is little. Yes, Theo, does also remind me of the Cosby show, but Phillip really loves the name so I am trying to overlook that, and hey, Theo was a good kid! Ivan would be eye-van, although I do like that other pronunciation as well. And we have ruled out Leonardo, we just really liked the name “Leo” but Leonardo, is just too much I think.

A few questions before I vote…. would you call him Mathias or Matt or Matty? I really Mathias. Could I call Theo “Teddy” instead? Think of it… Hazel and Teddy Squibb…. so cute. Theo makes me think of Theo Huckstable from the Cosby’s. Also… is it pronounced Eye-van or ee-vahn? I know a guy here who spells his name Ivan but he’s croatian so his parents pronounce it “ee-vahn”. It’s cool and he’s cool. And I love Leo. But Leonardo LeRoy? Is it too much Le? So, I need this clarified before I make my vote. I’ve been thinking hard and long about this (that’s what she said). And I have my own suggestions that I’m going to email you. xoxo

Woohoo! Love it. You know in England and NZ doctors don’t deliver the baby and you don’t see a doctor during your pregnancy, its always a midwife. But I love the birthing pools! Have you ever seen a water birth? Those are the coolest. I want one. Love you.

Amanda, I wish you the best of luck as you change courses! I had a c-section too and had always hoped I wouldn’t be confined to another. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers
