Alright, I have to brag on my husband a bit.

He has been experimenting with eggs benedict for a while now.

This Sunday, he really nailed it!

That is homemade hollandaise sauce as well ๐Ÿ™‚

These were, by far, better than any I have ever had in a restaurant, devine!

(If you haven’t enjoyed a poached egg in your life, you simply must try it)

Then it was onto the annual burning of the Christmas tree!

We watched in horror as the wind picked up and nearly carried the tree into the power lines and our neighbor’s fence.

But thankfully, it didn’t.

I know, it doesn’t seem very smart does it?

It burnt quickly.

While the kids looked on, enjoying their mini marshmallows.

Never a dull moment at our house!

  1. I know this is a weird comment but I can’t believe how GREEN and beautiful your grass is! The grass here in Kentucky and especially Texas is nothing like back in the midwest! For the past 4 years we’ve had TX and KY grass and I’m always in awe of how pretty the grass is back home ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Thanks Brooke! It is really beautiful. When we used to have the dogs it was a mess, but now it has back into its former glory. I think all the dog “fertilizer” helped too ๐Ÿ™‚
